I am a Boulder, Colorado native, and have lived in Longmont for 36 years. I retired in 2012 after 25 years with the Left Hand Water District, 19 years as the General Manager. In my career as a water manager, I dealt with many of the issues facing water providers in the Front Range communities, including extensive work with water rights, water supply, and environmental challenges to the community. In addition, I have extensive experience with policy development, personnel management, and accounting oversight. I was a founding member of the Lefthand Watershed Oversight Group (LWOG), when the organization was formed primarily to deal with issues related to the effects of abandoned mines in the Left Hand watershed. After a two-year break from LWOG following my retirement, I rejoined the Board following the 2013 floods.
