Sue Schauffler

LWOG Board Vice President

Sue is a founding member of The Watershed Center, formerly the Lefthand Watershed Oversight Group (LWOG). She was on a Task Force established by Boulder County that recommended the formation of LWOG to help coordinate, communicate, and when possible deal directly, with issues related to water quality. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Masters and PhD in Chemical/Biological Oceanography. She has lived in the watershed since 1990 and is keenly interested in both short and long term events that impact water quality and resilience of the watershed to future floods and fires.
