
Deb Hummel
River Program Manager
Deb is passionate about watershed health and restoration efforts and is delighted to work with the diverse communities throughout the Front Range. She has a Master’s in Fisheries Biology and Management and Bachelor’s in Biology. Deb has worked in aquatics and resource management since 2013 and joined the Watershed Center in 2018. As River Program Manager, Deb manages river-related projects, monitoring, and stewardship projects. She brings curiosity, collaboration, and science to her work and enjoys working with the challenges and complexities of water in the west. In her free time, she loves to run, hike, fish, and ski- all while exploring the outdoors with her friends, family, and dog (aptly named Sturgeon).
