Fire Followers – Cal-Wood Burn Site, Boulder

How is plant vegetation impacted by fire and what regrowth observations can be made? Walk the burn footprint as a team to observe plants starting to return in the wake of the burn. Using a smartphone app called iNaturalist, take photos and identify plants observed. Data will contribute to a growing database that will allow a better understanding of how our lands change and rebound after a fire.
